MORE THAN AN ANNIVERSARY
A lifetime for the art of watchmaking !

In 1965, Kurt Jenni began his apprenticeship as a watchmaker at Selnaustrasse 15 in Zurich. What was then a bold step into a new world has over the decades become a very personal journey through life - characterized by dedication to craftsmanship, a passion for precision and, above all, trust between people.

With a steady hand, a trained eye and an open ear for everyone who walks through our store door - this is how many of you have known and appreciated Kurt for decades. Some have even known Kurt for generations. And many of you - dear friends and dear family - have been and continue to be an indispensable part of this journey.

The world has changed in the last 60 years - but one thing has remained the same: Kurt is still a watchmaker with all his heart - in the same place as on the first day.

GROWTH & CHANGE

As our customer base and trust grew, so did our store: in 1992, it was extensively renovated and expanded. Since then, we have combined tradition and modernity - in an atmosphere in which people and their timepieces feel equally at home.

THE STEP TO INDEPENDENCE

In 1982, Kurt took over his mentor's specialist watch store and founded Uhren Bijouterie Jenni. With a lot of passion, experience and the will to preserve the highest level of craftsmanship, he built up a company that still stands for personal advice, excellent service and masterful watchmaking today - in exactly the same place as back then.

ENCOUNTERS
THAT REMAIN

One particularly wonderful moment will never be forgotten: In the 1980s, Kurt Jenni and Tour de France winner Ferdy Kübler presented a lucky winner with a high-quality wristwatch. Such memories are more than just episodes for us - they are part of our identity.

THE BEGINNING OF A PASSION

The history of Jenni Uhren is inextricably linked with Kurt Jenni. He completed his apprenticeship under the guidance of master craftsman Oscar Schwank - in the very place that is still the heart of our business today. With great perseverance and a keen sense of quality, Kurt laid the foundations for his professional destiny early on.
